Who can use vinyl letters.
Vinyl letters can be used by anyone, including a child who is able to work with their hands.
What are the best places to use vinyl letters?
Vinyl lettering is impervious to all weather conditions and can be used wherever it is needed or desired.
Are there any surfaces on which vinyl letters cannot be applied?
Most fabrics are too porous unless the are sealed and painted. Otherwise letters can be applied to any clean non-porous surface.

Our color chart has 23 of the most common colors, but if you have a specific color that is not on our chart, simply e-mail us or call 585-425-8600 so we can accommodate you.
How many fonts are available?
We offer 140 fonts on our order form. We support approximately 5000 fonts. Simply e-mail us or call 585-425-8600 if you need a font not listed on our order form.
How do I determine the size of letters to order?
The size of the letters is based upon the height of the capital letters. However, one must also consider the descender (the portion of a lower case letter that goes below the baseline as in g, j, p, q, and y) when deciding on what size to order. Failing to take the descender into account could result in the letters being too large for the space available. Check the sample layout on the order page to see how the descender increases the space requirements.

How are vinyl letters installed / applied?
Vinyl Letters are very easy to install. Almost as you would put down a bumper sticker. Complete instructions are provided with each order. Also, see our Letter Application and Removal web page for instructions.
What is needed to install vinyl letters?
The items required to install vinyl letters are masking tape, household cleaner (for clearing the surface), and a squeegee (which is provided with your order). See our Letter Application and Removal web page for instructions.
How are vinyl letters removed?
With a little heat from a hair dryer, the edges of vinyl letters can be lifted so the letters can be removed. See our Letter Application and Removal web page for instructions.
Can vinyl letters that have been removed from a surface be reused?
No. Once removed, the vinyl letters cannot be reused. The letters are usually damaged during the removal process.
